What the site collects
- On every visit, our hosting and security providers process your IP address and the details your browser sends, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. They set security cookies on noverax.cloud for that, lasting from 20 minutes to a year, which the site cannot work without.
- When you search, what you type and your IP address go to our search provider, in the United Kingdom, to find results.
- In the live examples, what you enter, such as a name or an e-mail address, is kept on our server and shown to other visitors until it restarts; do not enter real personal data there.
- If you write to us, we use your message only to answer it.
- With your consent only, an analytics service counts visits with cookies: see the consent to analytics. Until you accept, nothing is sent to it.
We rely on your consent for analytics, and otherwise on our legitimate interest in running a working, safe and useful site. The site keeps your colour theme, your recent searches and your answer about analytics in your own browser.
How long
Security cookies last up to a year, analytics cookies up to 2 years, and your answer about analytics 6 months, after which the site asks again. Visit statistics stay with the analytics service until we stop using it and delete them. Our providers keep records of requests only as long as finding faults and attacks needs, and we delete messages a year after answering them.
Where
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in countries the European Commission has not found to protect personal data adequately. Analytics data are stored in Russia; for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, they go there under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, which we can send you.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections and behind attack protection, and only the people who run it can see its analytics.
Your choices and rights
Change your answer about analytics at any time from Cookie settings at the foot of any page; this does not affect what was counted before. You may ask us what data about you we hold, have it corrected, deleted or restricted, get a copy of it, and object to what we do on the basis of our legitimate interest; we answer within 10 working days. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
